Barbanas Njama Kanyua

Barbanas Njama Kanyua is the sitting Member of County Assembly for Kyeni South Ward in Runyenjes Constituency, Embu County. He was elected in the 2022 General Election on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket after garnering 5,099 votes. Kanyua serves in the Embu County Assembly and has chaired the Lands, Housing and Urban Planning Committee, where he has participated in oversight of county land and urban-planning matters. He continues to represent the interests and development priorities of residents of Kyeni South Ward.
