Sarah Jelagat Malel

Sarah Jelagat Malel is the elected Member of County Assembly for Kimumu Ward in Moiben Constituency, Uasin Gishu County. She was elected in 2022 on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket, receiving 11,915 votes. She serves as Deputy Speaker of the Uasin Gishu County Assembly and participates in county-level leadership and development activities. In August 2025, she publicly announced her intention to contest the Uasin Gishu County Woman Representative seat in the 2027 General Election.
