Abdallah Issa Timamy

Issa Abdalla Timamy is a Kenyan lawyer and politician serving as the Governor of Lamu County. He has previously served as Governor from 2013 to 2017 and was re-elected in 2022. Timamy is a member of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and serves as the party's Second Deputy Party Leader following the merger of the former Amani National Congress (ANC) into UDA. Throughout his public service, he has focused on improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, tourism, and economic development in Lamu County while promoting peace, security, and investment opportunities along Kenya's coast.
