Alex Wanyoike Wainaina

Alex Wanyoike Wainaina is the elected Member of the County Assembly representing Mugumo-ini Ward in Gatanga Constituency, Murang’a County. He was elected in the August 2022 general election on the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket, receiving 4,379 votes. He serves as Vice-Chair of the Murang’a County Assembly Committee on Finance and Economic Planning, which handles matters relating to public finance management and economic planning. His responsibilities as MCA include participating in county legislation, budget approval and oversight of county government services and development initiatives affecting Mugumo-ini residents.
