Amb. Ukur Yatani Kanacho

Amb. Ukur Yatani Kanacho is a Kenyan politician, diplomat, and former Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Planning (2019–2022). He previously served as the first Governor of Marsabit County (2013–2017), Member of Parliament for North Horr Constituency, and Kenya’s Ambassador to Austria with accreditation to Hungary and Slovakia. He is seeking a return to Marsabit County leadership in the 2027 gubernatorial race.
