Amran Wardere

Amran Wardere is a Kenyan politician and community leader from Mandera County. She first gained countywide political prominence by contesting the Lafey Constituency Member of Parliament seat in the 2022 General Election on the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket. Although she was unsuccessful, her campaign established her as an emerging leader committed to advancing the interests of women, youth, and marginalized communities.

For the 2027 General Election, Amran Wardere has declared her candidacy for the Mandera County Woman Representative seat. Her campaign is centered on women's empowerment, youth development, quality education, improved healthcare, infrastructure development, and promoting peace and unity across Mandera County. She is widely recognized for her grassroots engagement, community advocacy, and commitment to inclusive leadership and sustainable development.
