Eng. Nebart Bernard Muriuki

Hon. Eng. Nebart Bernard Muriuki is a seasoned Kenyan electrical engineer and politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Mbeere South Constituency in Embu County. Born and raised in Embu, he laid his academic foundation at Kangaru High School before pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Nairobi, alongside a Master of Science in Digital Communications from Loughborough University in the UK. Prior to his election to the 13th Parliament as an independent candidate in 2022, Muriuki built an extensive corporate career in telecommunications, including senior roles at the Kenya Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (KP&TC). Currently, he leverages his technical expertise within the National Assembly's Public Petitions and Blue Economy, Water, and Irrigation committees to champion legislative changes and infrastructure upgrades for his constituents.
