Fatuma Mohamed Achani

Lawyer and advocate of the High Court (Moi University graduate). Served as Deputy Governor for two full terms (2013–2022) under Salim Mvurya. First female Governor in the Coast region and Kenya’s first female Muslim Governor. Focuses on women and youth empowerment, education (bursaries, VTCs), water infrastructure (dams, boreholes), healthcare, and economic development. Actively campaigning on performance record and “Kazi Iendelee.”
