Ferdinand Wanyonyi

Ferdinand Kevin Wanyonyi is a veteran Kenyan politician currently serving his third consecutive term as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwanza Constituency in Trans Nzoia County under the FORD–Kenya party. An economist by training with a degree from the University of Nairobi, his extensive career features senior executive tenures as the Managing Director of the Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA) and Deputy Managing Director of the Tana and Athi Rivers Development Authority (TARDA) prior to entering elective politics in 2013. Known as a senior political strategist within the Forum for the Restoration of Democracy–Kenya (FORD-Kenya), Wanyonyi plays an influential role in legislative development, currently lending his expertise to the National Assembly's Departmental Committee on Agriculture and Livestock and the National Government Constituencies Development Committee.
