Harrison Sammy Muturi Mwombo

Harrison Sammy Muturi Mwombo, popularly known on the ground as Muturi Makururu, is a vocal and highly strategic politician serving as the Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Ruguru Ngandori Ward in Manyatta Constituency, Embu County. First entering mainstream politics under the Jubilee Party banner in 2017, he later demonstrated deep grassroots resilience by successfully defending his legislative seat as an Independent candidate during the 2022 General Elections. Known for his aggressive grassroots mobilization, passionate public speaking, and active oversight of local infrastructure projects, Makururu has officially transitioned to the national stage by launching his 2027 senatorial bid, positioning himself as a prominent challenger for the Embu County Senate seat.
