Hon. Catherine Wambilianga

Hon. Catherine Nanjala Wambilianga is a prominent Kenyan legislator currently serving her second term as the County Woman Representative for Bungoma County in the National Assembly of Kenya. Elected on a FORD–Kenya party ticket, she leverages her background as a former long-serving high school mathematics teacher and the National Secretary for Gender for the Kenya National Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) to champion socio-economic equity. In Parliament, she actively serves on the Departmental Committee on Education, Research & Technology, while focusing her grassroots efforts on girl-child protection, women's financial inclusion, and the strategic distribution of National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF) grants across Bungoma.
