Hon. Margaret Muthoni Karuga is a Kenyan politician and the elected Member of the County Assembly (MCA) for Kiganjo/Mathari Ward in Nyeri Town.
she's a Finance and Accounting graduate from Strathmore University, brings a financial and governance-oriented background to her public-service career. Her experience in the Nyeri County Assembly has included serving as Deputy Majority Leader and participating in key oversight structures, including the Public Accounts Committee.
Her political journey has been rooted in grassroots representation, legislative participation and public-finance oversight. She is now seeking to build on that experience as she pursues her political ambitions at the Member of Parliament Nyeri Town Constituency ahead of the 2027 General Election.
