Humphrey Nakitari

Humphrey Okuku Nakitari is a seasoned Kenyan public administrator and political figure who currently serves as the Acting Director of Corporate Services at the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF). With a public service career spanning over three decades, Nakitari initially rose through the national provincial administration ranks as a District Officer and District Commissioner in high-stakes regions like Turkana and Kuria before transitioning into devolved governance as the pioneer County Secretary for Kisumu County from 2013 to 2017. Alongside his extensive administrative portfolio in national ministries, he is actively engaged in western Kenya politics, regularly contesting the parliamentary seat for the Matayos Constituency under the wider Azimio la Umoja coalition network.
