James Lomenen Ekomwa

James Lomenen Ekomwa is a Kenyan politician serving as the Senator for Turkana County since 2022. Previously, he was the Member of Parliament for Turkana South Constituency from 2013 to 2022. Before joining politics, he worked with World Vision Kenya and Uwezo Kenya in community development and peace-building. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Moi University and a Diploma in Animal Health from Egerton University. In the Senate, he has focused on issues such as security, drought mitigation, and development in Turkana County.
