About Joyce Chepkoech Korir
Hon. Joyce Chepkoech Korir is a resilient and trailblazing Kenyan politician currently serving as a UDA-nominated Senator and the trailblazing Vice Chairperson of the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC). Born in 1981 in Bomet County, she broke barriers early in her career by becoming the first female Mayor of Bomet Municipality in 2011, later serving as the Bomet County Women Representative from 2017 to 2022. Known for her grassroots connection and vocal advocacy for women, youth, and regional integration, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Public Relations from Moi University and has officially declared her bid to run for the Bomet Central parliamentary seat in the next general elections.
