Joyce Kamene Kasimbi

Joyce Kamene Kasimbi is a prominent Kenyan politician currently serving her second consecutive term as the County Woman Representative for Machakos County. First elected in 2017 and decisively re-elected in 2022 under the Wiper Democratic Movement, she serves in the National Assembly as a member of the Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives Committee. Before entering politics, she built a career in public service with the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation and managed a private building materials company. At the grassroots level, she is widely recognized for her community development initiatives focused on water security, teenage mother education re-entry programs, and local economic empowerment.
