Kathuri Murungi

Kathuri Murungi is a Kenyan politician serving as the Senator for Meru County and Deputy Speaker of the Senate of Kenya. He was elected to the Senate in 2022 on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket. Before becoming senator, he served as the Member of Parliament for South Imenti Constituency from 2013 to 2022.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management from Egerton University. Before joining politics, he worked in environmental management and consultancy. He is known for his work in parliamentary oversight, environmental issues, and county development.
