Kiraitu Murungi is a prominent Kenyan politician, veteran lawyer, and senior civil servant who serves as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Competition Authority of Kenya. Appointed by President William Ruto for a three-year term, he also chairs the National Oil Corporation of Kenya (NOCK). Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has been a defining figure in Kenyan governance, notably serving as the second governor of Meru County, a senator, a long-standing member of Parliament, and a cabinet minister under President Mwai Kibaki.
