Maryam Baimu Sharif Salim

Hon. Maryam Baimu Sharif Salim is a Kenyan politician serving as the Member of County Assembly for Frere Town Ward in Nyali Constituency, Mombasa County. Elected in the 2022 general election on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket, she received 4,534 votes. She represents Frere Town residents in the Mombasa County Assembly and participates in legislation and oversight of county services. In November 2024, she moved a motion seeking improvements to drainage infrastructure in the ward, highlighting concerns about flooding, stagnant water, and sanitation during rainy seasons.
