Philip Kinyutu Nzangi

Philip Kinyutu Nzangi is the sitting Member of County Assembly for Makima Ward in Mbeere South Constituency, Embu County. He was elected in the 2022 General Election on a Wiper Democratic Movement ticket after garnering 5,011 votes. Nzangi participates in the legislative, oversight and development functions of the Embu County Assembly while representing the interests of Makima residents. He has also been active in local community and land matters, including discussions surrounding the Mwea Settlement Scheme land dispute, where he has called for transparency, accountability and an inclusive resolution of the longstanding dispute.
