Richard Katemi Makenga

Richard Katemi Makenga is a Kenyan politician, businessman, and aviation professional who served as the Member of Parliament for Kaiti Constituency in Makueni County under the Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM-K) ticket. Born on September 12, 1960, he completed his education at the Nairobi School of Aviation and the Kenya Revenue Authority before stepping into public leadership. Elected during the 2013 general election to serve in Kenya's 11th Parliament, Makenga has balanced his parliamentary contributions with corporate interests in clearing, forwarding, and logistics. Today, he continues to be recognized as a prominent public figure and community leader within the Ukambani region.
