Stephen Barno

Stephen Barno, popularly recognized by his political moniker "Solar," is a highly qualified Kenyan civil engineer, public administrator, and political aspirant currently serving as the Director of Water, Irrigation, and Sanitation for Uasin Gishu County. An alumnus of the University of Nairobi and UNESCO-IHE in the Netherlands, Barno has spent years steering crucial Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programs, including a notable tenure as a Program Delegate for the Austrian Red Cross.
