William Oduol Denge

William Oduol, popularly known as 'Denge', is the Deputy Governor of Siaya County and an aspirant for the Siaya governorship in the August 2027 General Election. He was elected in 2022 as running mate to Governor James Orengo, but the two later fell out publicly. In January 2026 he declared his intention to challenge Orengo for the governor's seat, saying he would contest the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) nominations.
