Alianda Silvanus Maindi

Hon. Alianda Silvanus Maindi is the elected Member of County Assembly (MCA) representing Bunyala North Ward in Budalangi, Busia County, under the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party. Recognized for his proactive grassroots leadership, he heavily focuses on improving local infrastructure, expanding agricultural cultivation programs like BT cotton, and aggressively lobbying national bodies such as the National Water Harvesting and Storage Authority to establish community dikes and irrigation reservoirs. In his ward, he has championed critical public utility projects including the solarization of the Sisenye water station and the construction of independent water lines to serve local communities and the JOOUST Mundere Campus. Beyond his ward development duties, Hon. Alianda holds a key administrative role within the legislature as an appointed member of the Busia County Assembly Service Board, where he helps oversee the welfare, terms of service, and administrative operations of the county assembly.
