Duncan Muratia Nyaga

Hon. Duncan Muratia Nyaga is a Kenyan politician who serves as the Member of the County Assembly (MCA) for Evurore Ward in Embu County, representing the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party. Popularly known as "Mukang'u Junior," Nyaga entered the Third Assembly following a landslide by-election victory where he secured 7,853 votes before being officially sworn into office on March 4, 2026. Proving to be a rising political figure within the county, he made his leadership debut as a Temporary Speaker presiding over a plenary session less than a month into his term, and has since engaged directly with national leadership, including President William Ruto, to advance grassroots development initiatives
