Peterson Njeru

Hon. Peterson Njiru Njeru (popularly known as "Weche") is a Kenyan politician who serves as the Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Muminji Ward in the Mbeere North Constituency of Embu County. He officially assumed office on March 4, 2026, after securing a decisive victory with 3,207 votes on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket during the February 2026 by-elections. His legislative role focuses on community representation, oversight, and advancing local development projects within the County Assembly of Embu.
